Public Transit
THSR reserved and non-reserved seats
Non-reserved tickets can be bought on the travel date and offer flexible same-day travel on eligible trains.
Travel question: THSR reserved and non-reserved seats
The former claim that all such tickets become train-specific in 2026 did not match official guidance and was removed.
Why is this rule in place?
Reserved, non-reserved, discounted and pass tickets have different change and boarding terms.
What should travelers do?
Check the ticket and official app. Complete collection and seat reservation early for discounted tickets and passes.
